We offer a programme of educational support groups to help people with similar difficulties come together, encouraging us to learn how to develop more understanding and tools to help manage difficulties in healthier ways. Whilst it can be a bit daunting at first to meet with new people, many clients tell us that working with others who face similar challenges helped them see that it wasn’t just something they struggled with and they weren’t on their own. Meeting in a safe setting which is facilitated can also help with self-confidence that helps us to widen out our community. These groups cover:
- Managing angry and negative feelings to deal with conflict in healthier ways
- Developing a mindful approach to life to help cope with low mood, anxiety and worry thinking
- Learn to have self-compassion in living with a long term health condition and chronic pain
The groups are run over 8 weekly sessions for £120.
Support group for carers with mindful meditation (once a fortnight) – nominal donation of £5 per person
We run these in small groups of up to 8 members on a rolling basis. Please email us if you wish to be placed on the waiting list for the next group.
